Dismantling of a Volvo EW160B

We are dismantling a Volvo EW160B. The machine has been in operation with a contracting company in southern Sweden, and a decision has now been made to dismantle it.

About the model

The Volvo EW160B is part of Volvo’s B-series of wheeled excavators. The model replaced the earlier EW160 and was later succeeded by the EW160C. Machines in this series were manufactured by Volvo Construction Equipment.

Dismantling status

During inspection prior to dismantling, we noted that the V-ECU and T-ECU are not suitable for reuse. At the same time, many components from the machine remain in good condition. A number of parts have already been sold, and more components will be published continuously as dismantling progresses.
