Brief history of the machine

Åkerman became part of VME/Volvo in the early 1990s and the EW200 was produced during this transition. The EW200 combined the stability of Åkerman's chassis with Volvo's six-cylinder diesel.

Manufactured from 1993, it received an update in 1996. The Åkerman EW200 model was discontinued as its own brand and fully integrated into Volvo Construction Equipment in 1997.
